As an essential part of our logistics network, you’ll operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers with manual transmissions, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and more. Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers and commercial trucks across long-distance routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks when necessary
- Drive a variety of truck types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks to deliver diverse cargo
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle inspections in compliance with federal regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any issues promptly
- Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery times while managing driver hours effectively
- Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in truck driving, including route driving and delivery operations
- Proficiency in operating manual transmission trucks and familiarity with various trailer types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks
- Experience with freight handling, load & unload procedures, and equipment like forklifts is highly desirable
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to trucking operations and cargo securement
- Ability to work independently on long-haul routes while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for effective coordination with team members and clients

Pay: $1,500.00 - $3,600.00 per week
