We are a full-service mold shop handling every step of the manufacturing process, from original product Research & Development to final production and fulfillment. Our facility is a unique, high-tech learning environment equipped with two new vertical HAAS CNC machines, a BOY 80E Injection molding machine, and an extensive fleet of 3D printers for rapid prototyping. We are a small operation with true family roots and an incredible work culture. We believe in getting the work done in a timely manner while maintaining an enjoyable, healthy, and supportive environment.
The Role
We are looking for a hardworking, eager-to-learn candidate who wants to understand the manufacturing process from the ground up. Reporting directly to our Shop Foreman/Machinist, you will start with foundational tasks and progress as you learn. There is no job too small, and no duties are excluded from your day-to-day—every task in the shop is treated as a learning experience to build your total comprehension of our operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform foundational shop work, including sorting and packaging plastic components directly from the injection molder.
- Utilize 3D modeling software to design smaller components, jigs, and fixtures as needed.
- Learn the injection molding process hands-on: load tooling into the machine, perform color changes, and check maintenance features.
- Assist with general shop upkeep and "odds and ends" to keep production running smoothly.
- Shadow the Shop Foreman to gradually learn CNC machining and advanced production techniques.
Requirements
- Experience Required: Proven experience with 3D printing and 3D modeling software (Fusion 360 or similar).
- Mindset: A strong willingness to work hard, start at the bottom, and learn in one of the most unique machine shop settings in the area.
- Interests: Prior CNC experience is not required, but a genuine interest in machining and injection molding is an absolute must.
- Safety: Steel-toed shoes and safety glasses are strictly required at all times on the machine shop floor.
- Physical: Plastic shops require lifting and moving of heavy items from a frequent basis, You must be able to lift 50lbs +/- as needed while being safe and stable.
Work Environment & Perks
- Environment: Please note that the main machine shop is heated in the winter but is not air-conditioned. We do provide a fully air-conditioned break room for cooling off and taking breaks.
- Schedule: Part-time with flexible hours based on the shop's workload and your availability.

Pay: From $21.50 per hour
