Delivery Driver – Austin, TX
Summary
We’re seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team in Austin, TX. In this role, you’ll safely load, transport, and unload Pella products while delivering an excellent customer experience. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our products arrive on time and meet Pella’s high-quality standards.
Assignments may vary based on business needs, and you’ll work closely with team members to support daily operations.
License Requirements:
- Driver I: Class B CDL (may be required)
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery truck to transport Pella products to job sites and designated locations
- Load and unload materials according to delivery documentation
- Protect products from damage throughout handling and delivery
- Perform visual quality checks during loading and unloading
- Provide professional, courteous customer service in the field
- Collect COD payments and provide receipts when required
- Obtain customer signatures to confirm deliveries and pickups
- Communicate shortages, discrepancies, or delivery concerns proactively
- Maintain accurate DOT logs and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Follow all safety procedures, including use of required PPE (e.g., safety glasses, footwear, seat belts)
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the team
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior delivery or logistics experience preferred
- Stable and dependable work history
Technical Skills
- Basic computer skills preferred
- Willingness to learn company systems and tools (e.g., Outlook, internal software)

- Vision requirements include close, distance, and depth perception
Work Environment
- Combination of warehouse, delivery vehicle, and outdoor job sites
- Moderate to loud noise levels
- Exposure to varying weather conditions depending on the season
- Schedule and travel may vary based on business needs, including occasional overnight travel
