CDL Class A/B Driver
IMMEDIATE NEED

Greco Gas is seeking a Class A/B CDL Driver to become an integral part of our team. This is a full-time position for our Tarentum location. Greco Gas is a regional company with locations in Tarentum, Butler, and Kittanning. Our company is a supplier of welding equipment, industrial cylinder gases, bulk gases including bulk propane, and a manufacturer of specialty gases and dry ice.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Transport products to and from customer locations efficiently in a safe and timely manner
· Ability to frequently lift and carry products weighing 50 lbs.; push and pull dolly weighing 200 lbs.
· Load/unload truck safely; ability to operate forklift when necessary.
· Comply with local, state, and federal commercial driving regulations, including DOT and company policy and procedures.
· Inspect vehicle pre and post trip to maintain safety of the vehicle, perform preventive maintenance.
· Verify delivery paperwork, manage loaded product, and accurately indicate returned items.
· Prepare daily trip reports and driver logs.
· Provide a high level of customer service; display a courteous, pleasant manner toward all customers.
· Limited responsibilities may include filling cylinders in our on-site fill plant.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Valid Class A/B CDL license and Air Brake endorsement
· Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are a plus; if needed, Greco Gas will help obtain.
· Proven work experience as a commercial truck driver
· Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (ex. traffic and weather conditions)
