Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Restaurant Bartender in our Grille, where your energy and passion for exceptional service will create memorable experiences for our guests. We are looking for someone long-term, Tuesday - Saturday nights 4:30pm - 10pm.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS system.
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and provide outstanding customer service that enhances their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all food safety and food handling standards are met consistently.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and basic math calculations for transactions.
- Monitor alcohol consumption to promote responsible serving and prevent over-service in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to ensure seamless service delivery in both restaurant and event settings like nightclubs or banquets.
- Handle multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management, ensuring prompt service during busy hours while maintaining quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, particularly within fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet environments.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems; previous experience with retail math and cash handling is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse guests.
- Familiarity with food safety practices, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol serving policies.
- Ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced settings while demonstrating strong time management skills.
- Previous bartending experience involving brewing or beverage preparation is desirable; nightclub or catering experience is a bonus.
- Basic math skills for sales transactions, retail math calculations, and managing cash registers accurately.
