American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Critical Care Float Pool position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and the flexibility to work across multiple hospital units including the ED, Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Stepdown/PCU.

Hospital float pool position with assignments across multiple units including the Emergency Department, ER Hold, Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Stepdown/PCU

Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00)

Every other weekend required
-
No on-call responsibilities
-
No block schedule requests or alternate shift requests are permitted

10-week contract

Local candidates are accepted

Active GA RN license or compact RN license required

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Must be flexible with unit assignments given the float pool nature of the role

Copies of all required certifications must be provided for consideration

First-time travelers are welcome to apply

RTO maximum is 7 days; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment

If one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them with no holiday RTO permitted; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of them and may request one holiday off

Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day

Travelers must be away from all facilities within this health system for a minimum of one full year before returning as a traveler

Travel pairs may not be assigned to the same shift on the same unit
