<Job Summary>

<Duties>
- Perform installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems (including ammonia refrigeration), and ventilation equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
- Conduct field service operations on various mechanical systems such as plumbing fixtures, appliances, and equipment repair tasks across multiple properties.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for repairs requiring metal fabrication or component replacement.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance for compliance and future reference.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all maintenance activities; operate a <PERSON> driver vehicle safely when transporting parts or equipment.
- Collaborate with property managers and other technicians to coordinate maintenance schedules and respond promptly to emergency service requests.
<Requirements>
- Proven experience as a service technician with a focus on HVAC/R systems; construction background is highly valued.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and interpret HVAC design plans accurately.
- Hands-on experience with refrigeration systems—including ammonia refrigeration—and appliance repair is preferred.
- Familiarity with plumbing systems, boiler operation, welding techniques, and property maintenance practices.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other electrical testing devices confidently.
- Mechanical aptitude combined with excellent problem-solving skills; previous mechanic experience is advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> driver vehicles preferred.
- Certification or training in HVAC/R systems; relevant licenses or certifications are a plus but not mandatory for entry-level candidates willing to learn. Pay: $25.68 - $40.00 per hour
