As a Low Voltage Installer, you will be at the forefront of creating reliable, high-performance low voltage systems that power modern our commercial clientele base. Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain low voltage systems including access control, CCTV, Ethernet networks, and data cabling such as Cat5 and Cat6.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute installation plans.
- Set up and configure network equipment
- Conduct field service activities including system testing, equipment repair, and troubleshooting on-site to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, multi-meters, and other specialized equipment to complete installations with accuracy and safety.
Skills
- Proven experience in low voltage system installation. This includes but is not limited to: access control, CCTV, burglar alarms, and integration of ADA compliant automatic door openers.
- Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts including LAN/WAN configurations, Ethernet cabling (Cat5/Cat6), and network hardware setup.
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate clearly with clients during installations or troubleshooting visits.
- Proficiency in using testing tools like multi-meters for diagnosing electrical issues.
- Physical ability to handle power tools, hand tools, and equipment necessary for installation tasks in various environments.
Pay: $32.00 - $42.00 per hour
