The CDL-A Tractor-Trailer Driver will safely and efficiently transport staging, lighting, sound, and other production equipment to venues and events. This role requires a professional driver with a valid CDL-A license, strong commitment to safety, and the flexibility to work in the fast-paced, dynamic entertainment industry. Drivers represent the company on the road and at venues, ensuring equipment arrives on time and in excellent condition to support live productions. This position includes local, regional, and over-the-road (OTR) travel with extended routes and overnight trips.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operates a semi-truck and other vehicles, as needed, according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
- Performs local, regional, and over-the-road (OTR) driving assignments, including long-distance routes across state lines. (OTR 60%, Regional 40%)
- Transports loads safely and in a timely manner over required route, obeying all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations.
- Deftly maneuvers truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas; follows loading crew signals.
- Assists with loading and unloading of equipment and materials, using specialized equipment when warranted; unloads empty skids and returns all equipment to it's designated area.
- Maintains signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork; delivers documentation to shipping office or other appropriate staff when delivery route is complete.
- Facilitates routine service on trucks, which may include checking oil, water, gasoline, and air; reports maintenance malfunctions to management.
- Arranges trailers in shipping yards for optimum loading patterns.
- Experience using electronic log operation and driver record keeping.
- Knowledge of proper vehicle maintenance.
- Able to work a varied schedule including nights, evenings, and weekends.
- Must be able to travel long distances with overnight stays / hotel stays and adapt to tight show schedules, as well as handle local runs as assigned. May occasionally be required to fly to various locations throughout the country with hotel stay.
- Sufficient strength and physical dexterity to perform related duties and responsibilities of this job including occasional lifting up to and over 50 lbs.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

JOB TYPE: Full Time and Weekend Part-time Positions Available
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
- Must be at least 26 years of age for company auto insurance purposes.
- Must hold required commercial driver’s license appropriate for weight of vehicle to be operated.
- Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state department(s) of transportation regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Three (3) years of commercial driving experience driving Tractor Trailers.
- Two (2) years of white glove experience.
- Ability to drive multiple type vehicles. (Experience with Box Trucks, Flatbeds, and 53’ Vans)
- Pre-hire MVR required at time of interview.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The employee must sit in a trailer cab for long periods of time. Must be able to travel frequently. The employee is regularly required to use hands, talk and hear. The employee is required to stand; bend; stretch; kneel; squat; walk; reach with hands and arms. The employee must have the ability to verbally effectively communicate with staff and vendors. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee must have the ability to stay alert and attentive at all times and operate a computer, phone and essential equipment as required. The employee must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
