Accelerated Path to Management
Through New York Life’s Accelerated Path to Management Program, you’ll begin your career as a Financial Professional—building client relationships, learning our products, and meeting specific performance requirements¹.
Afterward, you’ll enter a six-month intensive management training program, designed to prepare you to recruit, coach, and develop financial professionals. This hands-on experience positions you for long-term success in leadership.
Your First Year
During your first year, you’ll work as a Financial Professional to gain firsthand experience in the role. You’ll receive:

Product Solutions
You’ll learn to offer a wide range of financial products and services, including:
- Life insurance
- Annuities
- Long-term care insurance
- Disability income insurance
- Investment products such as IRA’s, 529 plans, brokerage accounts, and more
Investment products are offered through NYLIFE Securities LLC (member FINRA & SIPC), a Licensed Insurance Agency. Securities licenses and FINRA registrations are required prior to offering investment products.
Transition to Field Manager
After meeting requirements during your first 12 months as a financial professional, you’ll enter the Associate Partner training program¹. In this role, you’ll begin building and leading your own team of Financial Professionals, with continued opportunities for advancement into senior leadership.
Compensation & Benefits
- Initial compensation is performance- and commission-based
- Upon promotion to Associate Partner, compensation shifts to a salary range of $100,000–$150,000, plus additional override compensation tied to recruiting and team development (R&Ds)

Job Requirements
- Obtain Life & Health insurance licenses within 30 days (company-paid)
- Obtain FINRA SIE, Series 6 or 7, and Series 63 within 120 days (company-paid)
- Meet and engage new clients to assess financial needs
- Conduct client information-gathering meetings
- High self-motivation and ability to work independently
- Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills
- Proven sales, analytical, leadership, and interpersonal abilities
Previous sales experience a plus
Athletic and/or coaching background a plus
