Overview
M&T Roofing and Restoration is looking for a motivated and dependable Roofing Sales Professional to join our team. This position involves helping homeowners understand their roofing and exterior improvement needs, recommending appropriate solutions, and guiding them through the sales and project process.
The ideal candidate is comfortable meeting new people, working independently, and building relationships with homeowners. Previous roofing experience is not required—we are willing to train the right person. Customer service or other experience working directly with customers is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business through company-provided leads, door-to-door prospecting, referrals, networking, and local events
- Meet with homeowners to discuss roofing, siding, gutter, and storm-damage restoration needs
- Inspect roofs and exterior components and document findings with detailed photos
- Explain inspection results and available options clearly and honestly
- Prepare and present estimates and proposals
- Assist homeowners with understanding the insurance restoration process when applicable
- Meet with insurance adjusters for property inspections
- Maintain communication with customers throughout the sales and production process
- Follow up consistently with leads, customers, and active projects
- Build lasting customer relationships and generate referral business
- Keep customer and project information accurate and organized
- Represent M&T Roofing and Restoration professionally in the community
Qualifications
- Customer service, sales, or other customer-facing experience is preferred
- Roofing or construction experience is helpful but not required
- Comfortable approaching and speaking with new people
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently
- Organized with strong communication and follow-through
- Professional, honest, and committed to treating homeowners fairly
- Comfortable working outdoors and safely accessing roofs
- Willing to learn about roofing systems, exterior products, and insurance restoration
- Able to travel primarily throughout Lorain County, with occasional appointments outside the county
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule based on customer appointments

Pay: $3,500.00 - $15,000.00 per month
