Stewart Tool Company, Inc. is an industrial manufacturer located in the Troy, Virginia area.
We are presently seeking Welders to compliment our manufacturing staff.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Follows work instructions to ensure proper welding procedures are followed.
* Sets up machine: ensures amplifier and volts are set appropriately based on size of part.
* Meets changing production expectations.
* Performs quality checks

Requirements:
* 3+ years experience in welding stainless steel using FCAW and GTAW welding processes. A skill test is required to validate competency.
* 3+ years experience with open root stainless steel pipe welds for pressure containment.
* Must be able to pass open root TIG qualification on stainless steel pipe.
* Must have good mathematical skills to accurately read a tape measure and perform decimal and fraction conversions.
* Must have the ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, specifications and charts related to the performance of the job.
* Must be proficient in the use of all tools and equipment necessary to perform the job.
We are looking to hire ASAP. We offer a great benefits package. Effective 8/3/26 we are now working a four day 10 hour work week (Monday-Thursday, off on Fridays)
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
