Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be actively involved in a variety of carpentry and general labor tasks on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards. Responsibilities
- Assist with framing, door hanging, siding installation, and roofing tasks using hand tools and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute project specifications accurately.
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks such as concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work.
- Install fixtures, cabinetry, trim carpentry elements, and perform drywall finishing including plastering and caulking.
- Support restoration efforts by engaging in water damage remediation, mold remediation, and general site cleanup.
- Operate CNC machines for fabrication or assembly tasks as needed.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working on construction sites or manufacturing environments.
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment including scaffolding and heavy machinery.
- Experience in various carpentry disciplines such as woodworking, metal stud framing, tile laying, flooring installation, and drywall finishing.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and project schematics interpretation.
- Familiarity with plumbing, electrical work, masonry, roofing techniques, and siding installation is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces.
- Prior experience in restoration industry projects or water damage restoration is advantageous.
