Position Summary
The Cashier serves as the first point of contact for guests, providing friendly, efficient service while accurately processing orders and payments. This position helps create a welcoming experience and ensures every guest receives exceptional hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Greet every guest with a friendly, positive attitude.
- Take customer orders accurately using the POS system.
- Process cash and credit card transactions.
- Answer customer questions about menu items.
- Package orders accurately for dine-in, takeout, and catering.
- Maintain a clean and organized front counter.
- Restock beverages, condiments, and dining supplies.
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
Qualifications
- Previous food handling experience (Required)
- ServSafe Certification (Required)
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable handling cash and operating a POS system.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
