Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. Duties
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and implant placements.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing dental diagnosis and medical diagnosis skills while adhering to HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
- Utilize dental terminology accurately for documentation and communication with patients and team members.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive medical and dental records review.
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed using aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures.
- Operate dental imaging equipment and interpret results to assist in accurate diagnosis.
- Collaborate with dental laboratory technicians for dental fabrication processes such as crowns, bridges, or dentures.
- Maintain detailed medical documentation and ensure compliance with medical records regulations.
- Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatment options, procedures, and post-treatment care to foster trust and understanding.
- Stay current with advancements in general dentistry practices including endodontics, pediatric dentistry, dental implants, orthodontics, and oral surgery to provide the highest standard of care.
Qualifications
- Valid state dental license with current certification to practice dentistry as an Associate Dentist.
- Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental diagnosis, patient care, and client communication.
- Familiarity with practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control practices, and healthcare diagnosis procedures.
- Experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics procedures including crowns and bridges, orthodontics basics, pediatric dentistry techniques, oral surgery procedures including implants.
- Ability to perform four-handed dentistry efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent skills in patient assessment and client communication to ensure positive patient experiences.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws governing medical documentation and record keeping.

Pay: $175,154.78 - $210,939.08 per year
