Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Unarmed Security Guard Supervisor to join our team at a premier sports betting facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.
Duties
- Monitor premises through regular patrols.
- Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment.
- Ensure compliance with policies regarding age verification, betting guideline, and other facility rules.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills as necessary.
- Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, grounds, and security equipment.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious activities and reporting them accordingly.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
Experience
- Previous experience in security, customer service, or related fields preferred, but not required.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus but not required.
