Job Summary:
The Human Resource Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes. This role administers employee health and welfare plans and acts as employee engagement liaison. This position supports benefits-related problems and ensures effective use of plans and pursues positive employee engagement and relations. The Human Resource Coordinator makes that certain plans are administered in accordance with federal and state regulations and that plan provisions are followed. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance, event planning, support of recruitment process, training support, and plant communications
Essential Functions:
- Provides excellent customer service to employees and contractors
- Maintain employee files and records using company databases
- Process benefits enrollment and processing
- Assist with the development of Human Resources policies and procedures
- Assist with the recruitment process by conducting phone calls, email, and networking events as needed
- Provide administrative support to the Director of Human Resources as needed
Requirements:
- Associates degree required. Bachelor degree is preferred.
- 3 years working experience in a human resource roll.
- SAP and Dayforce experience preferred.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office: (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)
- Must be able to operate various pieces of office equipment.
- Strong math, English and writing skills are required, as well as, attention to detail.
- Must be able to effectively multi-task assignments.
- Attendance on the job is essential.
- Strong data analytics ability
- Strong Interpersonal and problem solving skills are required.
- Conflict Management skills are required.
- Must be able to work in a team orientated environment.
