Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of living spaces, guest rooms, or commercial areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold hygiene standards.
- Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items.
- Maintain floors through specialized care such as carpet cleaning and floor polishing to ensure a pristine appearance.
- Restock supplies like toiletries, towels, and cleaning products to ensure availability for residents or guests.
- Follow proper sanitation procedures when handling waste disposal and cleaning chemicals to promote a safe environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ requests promptly and professionally.
- Assist with janitorial tasks such as window cleaning, restroom sanitation, and general custodial responsibilities in both residential and commercial settings.
Skills
- Proven experience in residential cleaning, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning environments.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation practices.
- Ability to perform laundry tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Familiarity with janitorial equipment and supplies management.
- Experience in housekeeping management or supervising cleaning staff is a plus.
