Duties
- Deliver in-person tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs, focusing on foundational subjects such as reading, writing, math, and science
- Develop and implement creative lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and promote active learning
- Regularly assess student performance through observations and formal evaluations; maintain detailed records of academic growth.
- Utilize learning technology and educational resources to enhance student engagement and understanding
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, to coordinate instructional strategies and address student challenges
- Maintain detailed records of tutoring sessions, student achievements, and areas for further development
- Prior classroom experience working with children in elementary or preschool settings is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques
- Experience with special education or early childhood education is a plus
- Familiarity with learning technology tools used in educational settings
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse learners and adapt teaching methods accordingly
- Childcare or preschool experience that showcases patience and nurturing qualities is advantageous
