As a Leadership Development Associate, you'll start by working directly with community members while learning how successful campaigns operate, how teams support business goals, and how strong communication drives results. Every Leadership Development Associate gains exposure to leadership, nonprofit partnerships, and day-to-day business operations.
Responsibilities of the Leadership Development Associate
- Support community outreach and fundraising campaigns for nationally recognized nonprofit organizations.
- Build communication skills through in-person conversations with community members.
- Learn how campaign performance connects to broader business goals and nonprofit partnerships.
- Assist with event execution, team communication, and daily business priorities.
- Work alongside experienced leaders to strengthen coaching, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Track campaign activity and learn how results support business growth and future outreach planning.
- Collaborate with fellow Leadership Development Associate team members to support shared goals.
- Continue developing leadership and business skills as a Leadership Development Associate.
Qualifications of the Leadership Development Associate
- Interested in leadership, nonprofit outreach, communications, or business development.
- Retail, hospitality, customer service, events, athletics, or campus leadership experience is helpful but not required.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with people.
- Coachable, dependable, and motivated to take on new responsibilities.
- Interested in growing as a Leadership Development Associate while building long-term business and leadership experience.
