Senior Project Manager (New Product Introduction)

About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional projects and drive the successful launch of new products in a manufacturing environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a project management professional with experience leading mechanical design, machine design, industrial automation, or New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from concept through production.
In this highly visible role, you'll partner with Engineering, Product Management, Operations, Sales, Service, and other key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of strategic projects from planning through completion.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and resources.
- Drive the New Product Introduction (NPI) process for machinery, automation systems, accessories, and product enhancements.
- Coordinate design reviews, prototype builds, pilot installations, launch readiness, training, and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, Product Management, Sales, Service, Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing.
- Facilitate project meetings, communicate project status, and provide updates to leadership.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Promote project management best practices and support continuous process improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
- PMP Certification preferred.
- 10+ years of project management experience leading complex cross-functional projects.
- Experience managing New Product Introduction (NPI), machine design, mechanical engineering, or industrial automation projects.
- Strong understanding of Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid project management methodologies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and other project management tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Manufacturing, CNC machinery, industrial automation, or related industry experience is highly preferred.
