Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician (family medicine or internal medicine) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of various health conditions. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to operate effectively in an outpatient setting, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, including but not limited to conditions related to hypertension, diabetes and cholesterol management.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Provide education and counseling to patients regarding health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Manage acute pain management strategies for patients as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Operate medical equipment and utilize technology effectively to enhance patient care.
Experience
- A medical degree (MD/DO) from an accredited institution is required.
- Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is preferred.
- Experience in outpatient settings is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with medical advancements.
