Develop a 12-month program development workplan aligned to the project period, including target populations, program priorities, timelines, and measurable outputs/outcomes. Assess and document current WarriorNOW programming by compiling an inventory of existing classes/events, identifying gaps, and summarizing findings from staff and veteran feedback. Design and implement standardized program planning tools, including an event/class planning checklist, timeline template, supply list template, partner coordination checklist, and post-event debrief form. Develop repeatable curricula and facilitation guides for priority topics (workforce readiness, stability/life skills, reentry resources), including session outlines, learning objectives, materials lists, and evaluation questions. Create a program calendar workflow that outlines how programming is proposed, approved, scheduled, and documented, including internal communication templates. Develop and implement a program evaluation system, including attendance tracking, participant feedback tools (surveys), and a simple dashboard for monthly reporting. Establish a community partner engagement process for programming by developing outreach templates, partner role descriptions, and a scheduling/follow-up workflow. Create a resource directory and referral toolkit for veterans (local services and eligibility notes) and create a process document for periodic updates. Review participation and feedback data, then recommend adjustments to improve consistency and outcomes. Develop SOPs and training materials so staff and volunteers can replicate programming tools, curricula, and evaluation processes after the VISTA term ends.
