Brighthouse Academy is an alternative learning environment designed to work in partnership with the area school districts to provide the setting and support necessary for students with unique and individual learning needs. Using the framework and foundational principles of ABA, students receive educational and evidence-based instruction for the development of skills for both academic and social/emotional growth.
Individuals hired for a position with Brighthouse Academy will be provided the opportunity for paid training on the principles of ABA, as well as experience in the role of an RBT. The training period is designed to meet the certification requirements for a Registered Behavior Technician.
Job Description:
A Behavior Technician must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
All RBTs are required to be supervised by a BCBA while working in the field of ABA.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Implement Individualized Service Plans for academic and social/emotional programs
Attend staff meetings/supervision, and training per supervisor’s requirements.
Adhere to all agency policies and procedures and complete other tasks deemed necessary for the successful operation of services.
Complete all required documentation, which includes, but is not limited to, data collection and session notes.
Must complete a TB screening within 30 days.
Must complete and maintain HIPAA Certification within 90 days of starting.
Maintain CPR and First Aid Certification at all times.
Must be found eligible via a background check with the respective state, FBI, and Child Protective Services or Social Services.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Part Time Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
