About the Role
As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of our production output by ensuring every component meets rigorous design specifications. You will leverage your technical expertise in precision measurement and data analysis to drive continuous improvement and uphold the highest standards of product excellence.
Responsibilities-
Validate finished components through precise inspection and testing protocols to ensure alignment with customer requirements.

Utilize advanced metrology tools including calipers, micrometers, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to verify part capability.

Interpret complex engineering blueprints and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards to evaluate product conformity.

Document and synthesize quality data to provide actionable insights for production leadership and process optimization.

Execute first article inspections and certify product compliance to facilitate seamless downstream processing.

Manage the disposition of non-conforming materials to maintain strict quality control and minimize waste.

Oversee the maintenance and inventory of specialized shop tools to ensure operational readiness.
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Demonstrated proficiency with precision measurement instruments like gauges, calipers, and micrometers.

Strong understanding of statistical quality techniques and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).

Solid computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Proven ability to work independently with high attention to detail and professional judgment.

Associate degree in a related technical field.

ASQ (American Society for Quality) certification.

Background in metallurgy or material science.

Experience working within regulated industries such as aerospace, automotive, or medical device manufacturing.
