We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide high-quality cardiopulmonary and critical care under physician supervision. Operating within a high-acuity Level 1 trauma center environment, this role requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to float between our Main Grady and Camp Creek locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver advanced cardiopulmonary and critical care to diverse patient populations in a Level 1 trauma setting, adhering to physician directives and established clinical protocols.
- Conduct and analyze pulmonary function tests (PFTs) to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of respiratory disorders.
- Document clinical data accurately and efficiently within electronic health record (EHR) systems, maintaining strict compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams, including physicians, nurses, and specialists, to manage patient care plans.
Role Requirements:
- Education: Associate or Bachelor of Science degree in Respiratory Care.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience as a practicing Respiratory Therapist (trauma or critical care experience preferred).
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted Georgia Respiratory Care Professional license.
- Certifications: National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential, alongside active BLS and ACLS certifications.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in administering PFTs, navigating EHR systems, and utilizing Microsoft Office suite.
Schedule & Location
Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (2 openings available).
