About Us
Flaming Aces Distillery is an award-winning, veteran-owned craft distillery in Elizabethton, Tennessee. We pride ourselves on producing premium handcrafted spirits while providing an exceptional experience through craft cocktails, tastings, live music, food trucks, and outstanding customer service.
We're looking for one or two experienced Craft Cocktail Bartenders to join our growing team.
Position Summary
If you enjoy creating exceptional cocktails, interacting with guests, and working in a fun, fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you. Our bartenders do more than serve drinks—they educate guests about our handcrafted spirits, provide guided tastings, and help create a memorable experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality craft cocktails and mixed drinks
- Conduct spirit tastings and educate guests about our products
- Deliver exceptional customer service to every guest
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar
- Accurately operate the point-of-sale system and handle cash transactions
- Verify IDs and comply with all Tennessee alcohol laws
- Restock inventory and assist with opening and closing duties
- Work as part of a team to ensure an outstanding guest experience
Qualifications
Required:
- Previous bartending experience
- Experience creating craft cocktails
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
Schedule
- Part-time
- Evening and night shifts
- Saturday availability is required
- Additional shifts may be available based on business needs
Preferred
- Knowledge of whiskey, moonshine, bourbon, rum, and craft spirits
- Experience with POS systems
- TIPS or ABC certification (or willingness to obtain)
