Business Applications Analyst
Location: Riverside, CA
Salary Range: $95,000 - $105,000
Position Summary
The Business Applications Analyst supports the planning, coordination, documentation, and continuous improvement of business processes and enterprise application initiatives across the organization. This role works closely with the Sr. Applications Systems Analyst and business stakeholders to coordinate implementation projects, document business processes, develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), facilitate communication between departments and software vendors, and help ensure projects are completed on time and aligned with business objectives.
This position plays a key role in supporting the company's digital transformation initiatives and enterprise business systems by improving operational efficiency, maintaining project documentation, and promoting standardized business processes.

Coordinate multiple business process improvement and enterprise application projects simultaneously.
- Assist with project planning, scheduling and milestone tracking, by maintaining project plans, action items, and implementation schedules using project management tools.
- Prepare meeting agendas, document meeting minutes, and track follow-up action items.
- Develop, maintain, and organize project documentation, business process documentation, and implementation records.
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and user documentation.
- Document current and future-state business processes using flowcharts, process maps, and workflow diagrams.
- Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, coordination, execution, and documentation.
- Coordinate end-user training activities and maintain training materials.
- Coordinate communication between business departments, IT, and third-party software vendors.
- Support organizational change management and user adoption initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and operational efficiency.
- Maintain document libraries and ensure project documentation remains current and organized.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Project Management, Operations Management, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in project coordination, business operations, process improvement, business analysis, or a related role.
- Experience creating process flow diagrams using Lucidchart, or similar tools.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving skills and project coordination skills.
- Experience in creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and business documentation.
- Experience using project management software such as Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, Airtable, or similar tools.
- Proficiency experience with Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple departments.
- Experience supporting enterprise software implementations and business applications.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and change management practices.
Work Environment:
This is an onsite position based in Riverside, CA and requires being onsite.
