Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Duration: 13 weeks (High possibility of extension)
Job Summary
The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides comprehensive respiratory care and pulmonary diagnostic testing in accordance with physician orders, departmental policies, and established clinical standards. This position is responsible for performing pulmonary function testing (PFT), assessing patient respiratory status, educating patients, and collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support accurate diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary diseases. The therapist ensures safe, high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
Requirements:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) OR Current Georgia Respiratory Care Professional License.
AHA BLS.
Experience performing Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) in a hospital or outpatient pulmonary laboratory.
