Help shape VIGEO's growing home health therapy program - not simply fill occasional visits.
VIGEO Home Health is seeking a Virginia-licensed Physical Therapist for flexible W-2 PRN or part-time home health visits across Northern Virginia. This is a pay-per-visit opportunity with a defined primary territory built around the communities you can consistently cover. Assignments outside your agreed territory are offered only if you choose to accept them.
CURRENT COVERAGE PRIORITIES
We are currently seeking PT coverage in one or more of the following areas:
- Reston
- Chantilly
- Falls Church
- Fairfax Station
- Springfield
- Lincolnia
- Woodbridge
You are not expected to cover every area. When applying, please identify the communities you prefer to serve. Patient assignments will be coordinated around your agreed territory whenever census and scheduling permit.
WHY A PT SHOULD TALK WITH VIGEO
- Flexible W-2 PRN or part-time scheduling based on your availability and accepted assignments.
- Priority consideration for new referrals within your agreed territory as census grows.
- Paid onboarding, required training, and approved administrative work.
- Mileage reimbursement according to agency policy.
- Geographically grouped assignments whenever census and scheduling permit.
- Mobile-friendly clinical workflow support, including WellSky/Kinnser onboarding.
- Responsive support from a Medicare-certified, CHAP-accredited home health agency.
- Opportunities to help improve therapy workflow, care coordination, and program standards.
COMPENSATION AND WORKLOAD
Indeed displays $110-$160 per hour. VIGEO uses a W-2 pay-per-visit model, not a guaranteed hourly schedule. As a practical planning estimate, a completed visit - including the patient encounter and related documentation - may total about one hour. Actual time varies by visit type, patient needs, and documentation complexity. Exact visit categories and rates will be reviewed before hire. Paid onboarding, required training, and approved non-visit administrative time are compensated separately. Referral volume is not guaranteed and varies by territory, patient need, and availability.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Complete PT evaluations, reassessments, plan-of-care updates, and discharge planning in patients' homes.
- Provide skilled interventions for gait, balance, mobility, strengthening, safety, edema management, and functional independence.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, fall prevention, device use, and safe mobility.
- Coordinate meaningful changes in condition and treatment recommendations with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
- Supervise and support PTAs when assigned and permitted.
- Complete timely documentation in WellSky/Kinnser consistent with Medicare home health standards.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Current Virginia Physical Therapist license in good standing.
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and required automobile insurance.
- Ability to complete in-home visits within a mutually agreed Northern Virginia service area.
- Ability to complete onboarding and competency requirements before independent patient care.
PREFERRED, NOT REQUIRED
Home health, OASIS, Medicare-certified home health, geriatric, orthopedic, neurological, fall-prevention, edema/lymphedema, or WellSky/Kinnser experience. Strong clinicians from other settings are welcome if they can work independently in the field and communicate promptly.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU APPLY
We begin with a focused conversation about your experience, availability, preferred territory, and sustainable visit volume, followed by role-specific screening, credentialing, and onboarding.
