Position Title: Bus Operator
Full Time: Full Time; hours will vary; weekend availability
Pay: $18.72/hr

Position Summary: This is a benefits eligible, partial year position. Each selected incumbent will sign a partial year agreement. Employees returning to work from designated partial-year leave periods are continued in the same position with no break in service and no change in the original hire date.
Safe operation of buses on campus routes and occasional charters. Complete paperwork associated with assignments. Follow written and verbal instructions by supervisory personnel. Occasional bus washing and other non-driving tasks from time to time. Drug and alcohol testing by the US Department of Transportation.
Duties/Responsibilities
· Safe Operation of buses on routes and occasional charters.
· Wash buses and perform other non-driving related duties as needed from time to time.
· Complete paperwork associated with assignments.
· Attend safety meetings as occasionally scheduled.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies:
· Ability to demonstrate a safe driving record, good communication skills and an ability to work with people of various backgrounds and skill levels.
Qualifications
· High school Diploma or Equivalent
· Driver’s License

· Sitting for long periods of time, pushing, pulling, reaching
