Summary:
Breakfast is the best way to start the day! Guests love to enjoy delicious, freshly prepared and beautifully presented food. A Breakfast Attendant prepares and maintains daily breakfast bar, welcoming each guest and providing a comfortable and friendly atmosphere.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Support guest service as the main focus of the hotel

Prepare, serve and maintain breakfast bar as required by brand and safety standards

Greet each guest, anticipate and assist with any breakfast needs

Maintain breakfast and preparation area cleanliness and ensure food safety
-
Wash, clean and store all breakfast equipment
-
Review and maintain inventory of food, beverages and supplies needed for each day
-
Report ordering or purchasing needs to supervisor in a timely manner
-
Complete all breakfast opening and closing tasks as indicated
-
Take action to solve guest problems/complaints and coordinate with other departments to fulfill a guest request

Other duties and special projects as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:

Excellent Guest Service skills
-
Excellent communication skills to verbally communicate effectively with guests and associates

Demonstrate knowledge of applicable food safety regulations
-
Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift
-
Ability to lift, push and pull a minimum of 40 pounds
-
Pushing, bending, stooping, walking, upward reaching, manual dexterity, seeing, hearing, and writing.
