Summary/Objective
The Operator is responsible for setting up, maintaining and operating multiple types of machinery and equipment. They ensure the interminable and efficient running of production at a high level of quality while constantly improving production processes and maintaining safe working habits.
Essential Functions
· Operate and adjust machinery to produce pocket spring units to exact specifications
· Monitor product quality and perform inspections using measurement tools
· Complete production reports and quality documentation daily
· Troubleshoot issues and perform basic machine repairs
· Learn multiple machine types and continuously expand your technical knowledge
· Work closely with your team and Shift Team Leader to meet production goals
· Maintain a safe, organized workspace and follow all company procedures
Competency
· Hands-on experience with basic hand tools
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
· Quality-oriented with strong attention to detail
· Able to use tape measures and rulers accurately
· Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
· Good communication and problem-solving skills
· No prior manufacturing experience required
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
