Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support clients’ developmental goals
- Use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behaviors and skill acquisition
- Collect and record data on client progress accurately during sessions to inform ongoing treatment adjustments
- Assist clients with daily living skills, communication, social interactions, and adaptive behaviors in various settings
- Maintain a safe, supportive environment by following all safety protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with team members to develop strategies that address individual client needs and challenges
- Communicate effectively with families and caregivers to provide updates on progress and strategies for reinforcement at home
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or certification in behavior analysis or related fields is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect positively with clients of diverse backgrounds
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and implement treatment plans consistently
- Energetic, patient, and compassionate attitude with a passion for helping others succeed
- Basic understanding of data collection methods and behavior management techniques preferred
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
