Schedule/Hours:
- Night shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts, 7:00pm – 7:00am
Key Qualifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license required
- Current ACLS & BLS certifications
- Minimum two years of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Demonstrated proficiency in pediatric, NICU, and adult ER & critical care settings
- Must reside at least 50 miles from metropolitan Washington, DC
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver physician-prescribed respiratory care, including diagnostic evaluations and patient management
- Perform testing and analysis of cardiopulmonary specimens and data
- Manage and monitor medical gases, environmental control systems, and mechanical ventilatory support
- Conduct artificial airway management, bronchopulmonary hygiene, and cardiopulmonary rehab
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care across all clinical sites
