Pool Service Technician

Scottsdale Pools is a growing, family-owned company specializing in luxury pool maintenance, remodels, and outdoor living projects throughout North Scottsdale, Cave Creek, and Carefree. We're looking for a dependable Pool Service Technician who takes pride in their work and wants to grow with a company that values its employees. Prior pool experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right candidate.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $30.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Typical schedule of 6–8 hours per day, Monday through Friday
- Company truck, gas, chemicals, equipment, and uniforms provided
- Opportunities for advancement and increased earning potential as the company grows
- Work exclusively in North Scottsdale, Cave Creek, and Carefree — no driving all over the Valley
Note: Company vehicles are picked up and dropped off daily in Cave Creek, with the ability to earn take-home privileges after a probationary period.
Responsibilities
- Service and maintain approximately 30–40 residential pools per week
- Test and balance water chemistry
- Brush, skim, vacuum, and empty baskets
- Inspect equipment and identify potential issues
- Report repair recommendations to management
- Maintain detailed service notes and photos using company software
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professional relationships with clients
- Represent Scottsdale Pools in a professional manner at all times
What We're Looking For
- Pool service experience is a plus, but not required — we're willing to train
- CPO certification is a plus, not required
- Reliable and punctual — able to consistently work Monday through Friday
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are highly preferred
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Dependable, honest, and self-motivated
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Strong communication skills with both clients and management
- Ability to learn quickly and take pride in your work
- Comfortable working outdoors in Arizona heat
- Active, healthy lifestyle is a plus
- Comfortable using smartphones, apps, and email daily
Requirements
- Valid Arizona Driver's License
- Driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- English proficiency required
- No illegal drug use
