Coastal Equipment is seeking full-time assembly tech/yard man who would like to gain experience working as a mechanic. Applicants must have the ability to work well in a team environment.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Move and organize equipment on the sales lot.
- Maintain the yard with weekly mowing and trimming.
- Unloading of delivery trucks for orders of both parts and new equipment.
- Assembly of implements and small equipment (based on experience level).
- Clean and maintain equipment on the yard.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- No previous mechanical skills required but some mechanical knowledge is preferred.
- Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to learn.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- Technicians are required to buy and maintain their own set of tools. Specialty tools are provided by the shop.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. without any issues.
