Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Program Director with a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) credential to lead and oversee comprehensive social service programs. Duties
- Lead the planning, development, and implementation of social service programs tailored to individuals with disabilities and behavioral health challenges.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate social service staff, including program coordinators and direct care professionals, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Manage program budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure fiscal responsibility while maintaining compliance with funding requirements.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, families, community organizations, and government agencies to enhance service coordination and resource accessibility.
- Oversee program operations to ensure adherence to all applicable regulations, policies, and ethical standards.
- Develop and implement staff training initiatives focused on best practices in social services, behavioral health support, and cultural competency—especially for bilingual team members.
- Prepare detailed reports on program outcomes, client progress, staffing metrics, and compliance status for internal review and external audits.
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools for documentation, data analysis, communication, and presentation purposes to support effective program management.
Experience
- Extensive experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs in social services or related fields.
- Proven track record in managing social service programs from inception through evaluation phases—demonstrating leadership in program development and team supervision.
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse community stakeholders.
- Administrative experience including budgeting, compliance monitoring, staff supervision, and report writing.
- Supervisory experience overseeing social service or behavioral health staff within a team management framework.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications for documentation, data tracking, and communication purposes.
- Bilingual proficiency is highly desirable to serve diverse populations effectively.
- Knowledge of regulations governing social services delivery for individuals from underserved communities is essential.
- Leadership in social services administration with a focus on client-centered care for individuals with disabilities or behavioral health conditions.
