Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment. The position performs various maintenance duties and administrative responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Responsible for diagnosing and servicing equipment. (HVACR, plumbing, electrical)
· Responsible for diagnosis, repair, install, move of commercial kitchen equipment
· Performs various preventative maintenance duties.
· Performs various administrative duties.
· Completes daily paperwork.
· Works with other employees as a member of a team.
· Works in a “SAFE” manner regularly.
· Assist in working with 3rd Party vendors in daily task.
· Perform all other duties as assigned.
· Respond quickly in the event of an emergency.
· All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
· At least two years of Gilbarco/Commander POS/dispenser/ Veeder-root/ Verifone certifications and general maintenance experience preferred but not required.
· Commercial kitchen equipment experience preferred but not required.
· High school diploma/GED required
· Physically capable of lifting 50+ pounds unassisted
· Experience in operating a variety of equipment and tools, including an electrical meter.
· Effective written and oral communication skills.
· Able to work well with minimal supervision
· Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures.
· Flexible work schedule required with the ability to work weekends, holidays, overtime and on-call shifts.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
· Ability to add, subtract and use simple math.
· Display an outstanding work ethic regularly. (honesty, efficiency, professionalism and dependability)
· Knowledge of MS Office. (Word, Excel and Outlook)
· Display punctuality and a neat appearance.
· Must pass background check and drug-free workplace requirements.
· Must possess a valid driver’s license and submit to a MVA driving record check annually.
