The Chisago Lakes Achievement Center has provided quality supports to individuals with disabilities since 1971, focusing on life enrichment experiences, supported employment and vocational training. Due to the pending retirement of the Executive Director, the Board of Directors is seeking applications for an Executive Director to carry on the community-based focus and mission-driven outcomes. The center operates as a non-profit organization, currently serving 46 individuals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human services related field. Masters degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the field of disabilities or human services
- Experience must include management of a DT&H program, non-profit agency or similar business
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience
- Meet the requirements of a Designated Manager in Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 245 D.081, sub 3.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a Minnesota background check
Preferred qualifications include proven experience in the following areas
- Leadership
- Budget development
- Licensing and state and federal service trends and regulations
- policy development and program evaluation
- Program development and positive behavioral supports
- Personnel management
- Training/public speaking/PR skills
- Community partnering and marketing
