Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic General Manager to lead our restaurant, Sorimmara Annandale. We are a fun and tight-knit team, and we are looking for the right person to lead our team. This will include ensuring positive customer experiences, managing staff, and adhering to food safety standards. We are part of a local restaurant group with exciting concepts, and we are looking for someone who wants to grow in the hospitality profession.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service across all shifts.
- Manage and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and development initiatives.
- Take care of creating and managing staff schedules.
- Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Control inventory levels, monitor food costs, and implement waste reduction strategies.
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Conduct staff interviews, hiring processes, and performance evaluations to build a strong team.
- Oversee customer service excellence by resolving issues promptly and maintaining positive guest relations.
- Promptly communicate with upper management regarding any issues/concerns that arise in the restaurant.
Qualifications
- Must have at least 5 years as a server in a full-service restaurant setting
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to effectively manage team members
- Positive customer service skills
Pay: $5,500.00 - $7,000.00 per month
