Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning, laundry, and sanitation tasks across all areas of the facility.
- Lead, motivate, and train housekeeping staff to ensure efficient performance and adherence to quality standards.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules that optimize operational efficiency while maintaining high hygiene standards.
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations, sanitation protocols, and industrial cleaning procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of work areas to verify cleanliness, safety compliance, and proper use of cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, janitorial equipment, and laundry materials; place orders as needed.
- Foster excellent customer service by addressing guest or client concerns promptly and professionally while maintaining a positive team environment.
Skills
- Proven experience in custodial work, commercial cleaning, or industrial cleaning environments with a strong understanding of sanitation practices.
- Demonstrated staff supervision and team management skills with previous supervising or managerial experience.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to cleaning operations and janitorial services.
- Strong leadership abilities with effective communication skills for managing teams and coordinating tasks.
- Expertise in managing cleaning & sanitation processes within hospitality or similar settings.
- Ability to oversee laundry operations along with general custodial responsibilities.
- Excellent organizational skills to handle inventory management, scheduling, and quality control efficiently.
