ESY will run Monday-Thursday July 6, 2026 - July 16, 2026
ECSE-8th Grade: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
9th-12th Grade: 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM
SUMMARY:
To support eligible students with maintenance of skill to prevent regression. This teaching position requires the development of lesson plans, parent contact, and to provide specially designed instruction based on student IEP goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must hold a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with the appropriate grade-level certification, as well as a special education endorsement.
The teacher must be proficient and knowledgeable in their area of teaching and must be able to provide a flexible, stable and pleasant teaching environment while maintaining discipline that is not oppressive to the learner. They should be able to use evaluative classroom procedures to improve instruction to become aware of physical, social, emotional and mental developments of the learner, and be concerned with the home-school-community relationship.
