Duties
- Assist in supervising and engaging children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Support classroom management by implementing age-appropriate routines and behavior guidance strategies
- Help facilitate child development instruction aligned with early childhood education standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences
- Support staff with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other caregiving responsibilities
- Follow mandated reporting laws to ensure children’s safety and report any concerns promptly to supervisors
Experience
- Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR is required or willing to obtain upon hire
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies
- Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration
- Previous experience in daycare center or preschool environments demonstrates readiness for this role

Pay: $22.50 - $24.00 per hour
