Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and a passion for creating memorable experience. If you have a background in the culinary arts and enjoy working in a welcoming environment, we would love to hear from you. Pay starts at $21 an hour plus tips.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
- Ensure the kitchen meets all sanitary and safety standards
- Collaborate with the Dietary Department to meet special dietary needs
- Monitor food stock levels
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace
- Follow proper knife handling techniques
- Contribute to a positive team environment
Experience:
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen setting
- Knowledge of food industry best practices
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fluctuating environment
