Job Description
Mark Oliver is seeking a dependable, creative, organized, and motivated Videographer and Social Media Content Creator to work directly alongside him, consistently document his daily activities, and turn those experiences into engaging content.
This person will regularly accompany Mark to business meetings, properties, podcast recordings, events, community initiatives, travel assignments, and other locations throughout the Tampa Bay area and beyond when necessary.
The selected candidate must be comfortable working closely with Mark throughout the day—not only filming scheduled events. They must recognize strong content opportunities, remain prepared to capture footage as activities happen, and produce content within short turnaround times.
This is also a hands-on assistant position. In addition to filming and editing, the Content Creator will help Mark stay organized, assist with podcast and event setup, move equipment, run occasional business or personal errands, and help with reasonable day-to-day needs while traveling or working on location.
The Content Creator will work closely with Mark’s Executive Assistant. The Executive Assistant will primarily manage scheduling and organization, while the Content Creator will primarily handle filming and content production. Both employees will assist Mark directly and support one another during meetings, travel, property tours, podcast recordings, events, and special projects.
Responsibilities
- Consistently accompany and film Mark during daily business activities, property visits, meetings when approved, podcast recordings, events, travel, and behind-the-scenes moments.
- Capture high-quality vertical and horizontal videos using a professional camera, mobile device, or both.
- Recognize valuable content opportunities without always needing detailed instructions.
- Edit Instagram Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, podcast clips, property videos, event recaps, and longer-form content when needed.
- Produce same-day or next-day content when announcements, events, or trending opportunities require a quick turnaround.
- Add captions, hooks, music, graphics, transitions, and branding when appropriate.
- Help develop content ideas, recurring video series, titles, captions, thumbnails, and promotional concepts.
- Organize raw footage, photographs, completed videos, project files, memory cards, and backups.
- Keep cameras, microphones, batteries, lighting, tripods, and podcast equipment organized, charged, and ready.
- Help set up, break down, carry, move, and organize podcast, filming, and event equipment.
- Travel with Mark to meetings, properties, interviews, events, podcast recordings, and other business activities.
- Assist Mark with occasional business and personal errands, pickups, supplies, guest needs, and last-minute requests.
- Help Mark stay organized while filming, traveling, or working on location.
- Coordinate filming schedules and priorities with Mark and the Executive Assistant.
- Use ChatGPT, Codex, and other AI tools for content ideas, scripts, captions, research, organization, workflow improvement, automation, and problem-solving.
