As an account manager, you'll assume responsibility for a number of developer accounts, oversee the work of account and be a key person in charge of budgets, revenues and administration. Quite how much responsibility you have will depend on whether you work under an account director, or are directly responsible to the managing director.

5. Ensuring necessary actions are undertaken by the account team at the right times
6. Building a 'territory'
7. Achieving app sales targets
8. Delivering sales presentations to high-level executives
9. Attending developers conference- call meetings
10. Maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients
1. Good spoken and written communication skills. Multi lingual is an advantage.
2. Strong presentation and negotiation skills
3. Confidence, tact and a persuasive manner
4. Good organizational and time management skills
5. Good 'people skills', for working with a range of colleagues and clients
