Job Overview
We are seeking ambitious and results-driven In-Home Sales Specialists to join our team! For nearly 20 years, AMP has been an industry leader in in-home sales. We grew to become the 8th largest residential home security company in the nation, one of the nation’s largest and fastest-growing residential solar companies and now we are pleased to offer roof and window replacement in addition to our other home services. We are a customer’s one-stop shop for all their home service needs. This gives our sales reps the ability to sell multiple products to each customer!
Roofing is our primary focus as the roofing market alone in Utah is over a billion dollars annually! With fast population growth, high housing construction activity, large suburban roof replacement cycles, and strong hail/wind pockets along the Wasatch Front, the roofing industry is booming in 2026! We also offer siding, gutters, window replacement, and roof rejuvenation to prolong homeowners‘ roofs. We are the only licensed roofing company in the state to offer the patent-pending Roof Saver Renue It 17, which is the ONLY Asphalt Shingle Preservation Product that provides 17 continuous years of coverage with just one application and one payment, saving homeowners tens of thousands on replacement costs.
We are insurance claims specialists, and we can often work with insurance adjusters to get homeowner’s roofs replaced through their homeowner’s insurance with little to no out of pocket costs!
As an in-home sales specialist, you can also offer a homeowner solar panels and TESLA POWERWALL Batteries to replace their ever-increasing power bill with renewable energy.
Whether its a new roof, siding, gutters, solar panels, windows, permanent lighting, or any other home improvement need, we can provide it either in house or through our channel partners!
As sales reps, this also means you can make MULTIPLE COMMISSIONS with the same customer on every home service product! It’s not uncommon to sell a customer a home renovation package to include a new roof, a new porch, siding, gutters etc. in a bundle savings which will lead to the sales rep exceeding a $10,000 commission on the same sale!

Unlike many commission-based sales jobs that can take weeks or months to start making money, at AMP, we pay weekly and you will make sales your first week with us! And your commissions are UNCAPPED!

We generate leads through online platforms, referrals, door-to-door, trade-shows, working with home insurance companies, and through our channel partners.

First Year Sales Rep: $108,000
Experienced Sales Rep: $172,000
Sales Manager: $258,000
Regional Manager: $347,000

SCHEDULE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- The sales team works Tuesday-Saturday, starting each day with a team meeting.
- We generate leads through door-to-door outreach, referrals and online channels to identify potential clients for roofing, solar and home improvement projects.
- Our sales specialists meet in-home with customers through personalized consultations, emphasizing the benefits of roofing, solar, and energy-efficient solutions to their specific needs.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in sales or strong desire to develop sales and negotiation skills (however, we are willing to train the right motivated individual if you have a strong desire to learn, a positive attitude and are coachable)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently in door-to-door sales environments while maintaining professionalism.
- Self-discipline, strong work ethic, and resilience.
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
