Company: Bloom Cannabis
Location: Regional – Serving Akron, Massillon, and Painesville, OH dispensaries
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary
Bloom Medicinals is seeking a reliable, motivated, and tech-savvy IT Support Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be the go-to resource for everyday, frontline technical support across three of our Northeast Ohio dispensaries: Akron, Massillon, and Painesville.
This is a highly active, mobile role. You will spend your days keeping our retail store technology running smoothly, troubleshooting low-level hardware and software issues, and ensuring our dispensary teams have the tools they need to serve our customers efficiently. If you enjoy a mix of hands-on technical work and traveling between local sites, this is the perfect opportunity to kickstart your IT career in a fast-growing industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Frontline Hardware Support: Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot retail hardware, including Point of Sale (POS) registers, receipt printers, barcode scanners, desktop computers, and tablets.
- Software & Application Help: Assist store staff with everyday software issues, password resets, peripheral configurations, and basic troubleshooting of retail and compliance applications.
- Network & Infrastructure Maintenance: Perform basic low-level network troubleshooting (checking ethernet connections, power-cycling routers/switches, verifying Wi-Fi connectivity).
- Inventory & Ticket Tracking: Document, track, and resolve incoming store support tickets in a timely manner. Escalate complex network or system issues to senior IT management.
- On-Site Upkeep: Physically inspect hardware, organize server racks/cables at each location, and assist with minor physical tech deployments or equipment swaps.

- Problem-Solving: A resourceful "figure-it-out" attitude with the ability to diagnose minor technical glitches patiently and methodically.
- Communication: Excellent customer service skills. You must be able to explain technical solutions clearly and kindly to non-technical store staff.
