Dental Insurance Payment Posting & Claims Specialist (Remote)
Rosen Summit Dental Advisors is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Dental Insurance Payment Posting & Claims Specialist to join our team.
This is not a front desk or scheduling position. We are specifically looking for someone with a strong background in insurance payment posting, claims management, and insurance reconciliation within a dental practice.
If you've spent your day working insurance aging, posting EFTs and checks, reconciling EOBs, researching claim discrepancies, and communicating with insurance carriers, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Post insurance payments accurately from EFTs, ERAs, and paper EOBs
- Balance and reconcile daily insurance deposits
- Research payment discrepancies, denials, and underpayments
- Resolve aging insurance claims through carrier follow-up
- Submit corrected claims, appeals, and requested documentation
- Review claim status and payment trends
- Work directly in client practice management software
- Maintain accurate notes and documentation
- Collaborate with our consulting and outsourcing teams to improve client revenue cycle performance
We're Looking For Someone Who Has
- Minimum of 2 years of dental insurance payment posting experience
- Strong understanding of dental insurance billing and claim processing
- Experience working insurance aging and outstanding claims
- Ability to read and interpret EOBs and ERAs
- Experience with PPOs, coordination of benefits, and claim corrections
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment

Experience with one or more of the following:

- Dentrix
- Open Dental
- WinOMS
- Denticon
- Curve Dental
- DentalXChange
- Vyne
- NEA FastAttach
- Clearinghouse and electronic claims management

- Front desk scheduling
- Patient check-in/check-out
- General receptionist duties
- Traditional administrative support
